Second Church opened it's doors, welcoming all,
in 1923. This Cincinnati-based church, located at Clifton and Probasco streets, is
directly across from the University of Cincinnati's main campus. The cornerstone
was laid in that same year, with the following inscriptions:
"Second Church of Christ, Scientist 1923"
on one side, and
"Erected as a tribute
to Mary Baker Eddy, discoverer and founder of Christian Science"
on the other.
