Our Church Services

Sunday Services
Our Sunday service is held at 10:30 AM and is centered
around the Lesson-Sermon for that week. It is comprised of selections from the Bible
(Kings James Version) and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key
to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Mrs. Eddy ordained these two books as the pastor
for all Churches of Christ, Scientist, in order to move away from personal preaching.
Readers, elected from the membership, conduct the service.

Weekly Lesson Sermon
The Lesson Sermon comes from the Christian Science Quarterly,
which may be obtained from any Christian Science Reading Room or ordered by phone, mail

Wednesday Testimonial Meetings
Our Wednesday Testimonial Meetings are held at 7:30 PM
and are open to the entire family. They start with readings from the Bible and Science and
Health with Key to the Scriptures focused on a specific theme. The service is then is open
to the congregation to share testimonies of healings and experiences based on their application
of Christian Science.

Sunday School
A Sunday School service begins at 10:30 AM for young people
up to the age of 20. Separated into age groups, they study the Bible, the textbook and the
Lesson Sermon. Teachers guide the students' study of the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, the Sermon
on the Mount and the Lord's Prayer and help to reveal their spiritual significance and show how
the students can apply these lessons to overcome their own daily challenges.
